Title: Transpacific Fiber-Optic Cables Project
Description: MC Global BP4, (applicant), proposes to install and operate up to four transpacific submarine fiber-optic cable systems with United States landings in Hermosa Beach, California. The proposed project would be implemented in four phases consisting of one phase for each of the four cable systems. Each cable system would entail installing a marine fiber-optic cable system on the sea floor across the Pacific Ocean, each landing at one of two sites in Hermosa Beach, and then connecting via underground conduit to a terminal on land at one of four potential power feed equipment (PFE) facility locations.
