Title: Marsh Street Bridge Replacement Project
Description: The City of San Luis Obispo, in cooperation with Caltrans, proposes to replace the Marsh Street Bridge between Osos St. and Santa Rosa St. over the San Luis Obispo Creek. Marsh Creek street is a one-way major arterial connector from U.S. 101 through downtown San Luis Obispo serving local, commercial, commuter, pedestrian, and bicycle traffic. The proposed project would replace the existing bridge with a single span post-tensioned slab bridge. The new proposed bridge would clear span of the San Luis Obispo Creek and no permanent impacts to the channel are anticipated. This section of Marsh Street is expected to be fully closed during construction.
