Title: Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care Center
Description: New construction of a public service facility for a wildlife care center that includes twelve animal enclosures for the purpose of animal rehabilitation. The facility includes an area for a live-in caretaker, animal hospital and long-term intern facilities. The animal care center will be two stories; the unconditioned floor area is 1,843 sf, the conditioned floor area is 8,679 sf, and the total floor area is 10,522 sf. The twelve animal enclosures will be all unconditioned space with fenced outdoor areas for the wildlife. The public will be able to access the animal care center while a fence will block public access to all animal enclosures. The fence will enclose all of the animal enclosures and will serve the purpose of keeping the general public and wildlife out of the area where the animals will be rehabilitated.
