Title: Pismo Beach Sludge Dewatering Improvements Project
Description: The Project will construct a new building on the existing site, which will require demolition of an existing anaerobic digester structure and a boiler/generator building. The WWTP property encompasses 4.05 acres, and within theexisting facility, only two areas will be directly impacted by the proposed Project. These include a staging area for construction equipment and the footprint for the new building to house the new sludge dewatering equipment. Two current structures will be demolished to accommodate the new building. The proposed biosolids facilities will be constructed in the vacant paved area just east of the existing dissolved air flotation thickener and abandoned digester.
