Title: Pump-In Program Project 2014 - Local Groundwater to SWP
Description: Antelope Valley-East Kern Water Agency (AVEK) to pump-in up to 27,000 acre-feet of local groundwater originating from wells in the AVEK service area in Reaches 18A through 22B. The pump-in will be complete December 31, 2015. This proposed transfer is designed to enable both KCWA's and AVEK's water users to better manage their respective water supplies. No lands will be fallowed as a result of the transfer and no additional groundwater will be pumped.
