Title: UCLA Basketball Practice Facility
Description: The proposed Basketball Practice Facility involves construction and operation of a new 2 level, up to 37,000-gsf building (approximately 30,000 assignable square feet [asf]) to accommodate basketball practice programs of the UCLA Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. The proposed building location and design address: (1) programmatic demands for both men's and women's basketball team's practice needs; (2) co-location of program needs that create synergies for students and coaches; and (3) maximizes use of limited land resources. Construction is anticipated to begin in May 2016 with completion in October 2017 for duration of approximately 18 months.
