Squaw Mountain Road Bridge Repair Project

Description

CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2013-0100-R6, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, KB Home or as represented by Scott Hansen. The project is limited to the following components: 1) concrete lining the channel bottom below the existing Squaw Mountain Road bridge, 2) connecting the concrete-lined channel to the existing bridge abutments, 3) placing 1/4-ton un-grouted riprap with No.2 backing on the upstream and downstream sides of the concrete lined portion of the channel, 4) installing riprap slope protection on the northwest slope, and 5) extending the existing asphalt access roa dby 40 feet. The construction of the project will temporarily impact 0.229 acre and permanently impact 0.306 acre of streambed and stream-associated habitats.
