Shaded Fuelbreak Maintenance Project
Description
The proposed project, MMU Fuelbreak Maintenance Project, consists of maintenance of four existing shaded fuelbreaks in the CAL FIRE Madera-Mariposa-Merced Unit. These shaded fuelbreaks were constructed in the last decade and are in need of periodic maintenance to remain effective. This project proposes to maintain these shaded fuelbreaks using herbicides and hand clearing.
