- A General Development Plan for the Park was adopted in 1957. A new General Plan is necessary to accurately reflect current land ownership, resources conditions, park management and potential opportunities. To determine appropriate uses, DPR underwent a planning process which includes evaluating existing conditions and assessing current and potential uses.
