On-Project Plan for the Klamath Reclamation Project

Description

Note: Response to COmment The On Project Plan (OPP), is one element that is described in Section 15.2 of the Klamath Basin Restoration Agreement (KBRA). The purpose of the OPP is to align water supply and demand consistent with the diversion limitations provided in the KBRA, the availability of supplies not affected by such limitations, and the terms of Section 15.1.2, on an annual and ongoing basis. Pursuant to Section 15.2.1 of the KBRA, the OPP is to be implemented within an area defined as the On-Project Plan Area (OPPA), which is subject to potential limitations on water availability from Upper Klamath Lake and the Klamath River. Implementation and administration of the proposed OPP will be in compliance with the Klamath Project Operations, the Biological Opinion on Klamath Project Operations, and all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and agreements.
