Camino Tassajara Shoulder Widening - 1.1 Miles South of Highland Road to 0.3 Mile North of Windemere PKWY
Description
This project involves roadway improvements along a 2,100-ft long section of Camino Tassajara. Project activities include clearing and grubbing, grading of the road shoulder, installation of paved shoulders to accommodate road widening and bike lanes, stripping, installation of signage, culvert and drainage improvements, and other related activities. The Project will result in impacts to 1.77 acres of California tiger salamander habitat including temporary impacts to 1.62 acres and permanent removal of 0.15 acres of habitat. The project is expected to result in incidental take of California tiger salamander designated as threatened species under CESA. The ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of species listed under CESA that may occur as a result of Project implementation.
