Wilton Rancheria Fee-to-Trust and Casino Project
Description
Note: Review Per Lead The proposed action is the acquisition of approx. 36 acres of fee land in trust by the United States upon which the Wilton Rancheria (Tribe) would construct a casino resort. The proposed property is located within the city of Elk Grove in Sacramento County, immediately west of Highway 99, north of Kammerer Road, and east of Promenade Parkway. The 36-acre site is on the northern portion of the larger, previously developed mall property. The EIS/tribal project Environmental Document analyzes the environmental impacts of the project, pursuant to NEPA and the MOU between Sacramento county, the city of Elk Grove, and Wilton Rancheria. A revised draft conformity determination required by the clean air act is included as revised appendix T of the FEIS.
