- Eastside Mutual Water Company (EMWC) proposes to temporarily transfer to San Luis & Delta-Mendota Water Authority (SLDMWA) a total of 968 acre-feet of water made available by pumping groundwater in lieu of diverting surface water. EMWC has petitioned for, and the State Water Resouces Control Board (SWRCB) has approved, a change in the place of use of the transfer water. EMWC's Point of Transfer will be River Mile 95.25L on the Sacramento River. The transfer water will flow down the Sacramento River to the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, where it will be pumped by DWR at SWP BAnks Pumping Plant and conveyed to SLDMW's service areas.
