Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2014-0006-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Cameron park Petroleum, Inc. Project is limited to the following activities: 1) installation of approx. 22 feet of 12-inch diameter storm water drainage pipe with construction of an associated concrete headwall type outfall into the tributary. A rocked flow dissipater to slow exit flows of storm water runoff and minimize risk of erosion will be installed at the mouth of the outfall. The outer edge of the flow dissipater will end approx. 10 feet from the ordinary high water mark associated with the tributary. 2) Construction of a contoured retaining wall along the southern edge of the natural area. The purpose of the wall is to isolate the structure on the site and will range to a height of 12 feet. 3) Removal of nine trees and temporary disturbance of some associated riparian habitat to allow for construction on site. This project activity will be mitigated through implementation of a revegetation plan for the wetland/tributary area using local native plant species, including Fremont cottonwoods, valley oaks, sandbar willow, arroyo willow, Gooding's black willow, and various shrub plants from the following genera: Heteromeles; Ceanothus, and Fremontodendron.
