Repair of Outlet Pipe and Gate Valve on Lake Madrone Dam

Description

The CA Dept. of Fish and Wildlife is executing Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2013-0100-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Lake Madrone Water District. The project is limited to the replacement of a lower outflow valve and relining of an outflow pipe to bring dam safety into compliance. This will be accomplished while lake water levels are below the level of the outflow pipe and valve allowing for creation of rock based equipment pads for placement of relining equipment both on the inner and out faces of the dam at the level of the outflow pipe and valve. Upon completion of the project, the rock pads will be removed and the area re-compacted.
