Description

The project is limited to the replacement of a 42-foot by 48" by 57" HDPE culvert. During a storm event, high water flows caused failure of the cross-culvert and undermined a portion of the roadway. The repair will replace the culvert with one HDPE pipe of the same dimensions and repair existing headwalls. The damaged roadway area (30' length, 4' width and 12' depth) will be backfilled with compacted soil, 25 cubic yards of concrete slurry and 2 tons of asphalt concrete. Exposed bare earth areas will be seeded with a native plant seed mix.
