CA State Polytechnic University, Pomona, Campus Replacement Housing and Dining Facility Project

Description

Cal Poly Pomona is proposing a major master plan amendment to the 2000 Campus Master Plan in order to allow for the construction of seven new student housing buildings that would house approximately 1,680 residents and include a 40,000 sf dining facility, circulation improvements, and associated infrastructure improvements. Proposed infrastructure would include the construction of a new central plant to support the new student housing and dining facilities, the closure and reuse of Red Gum Lane, and the relocation of the existing information kiosk. The project also includes installation of new potable water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure. The project would be constructed on existing Parking Lot C and the entirety of Parking Lot F8. The new information kiosk would be located within the western portion of Parking Lot F9. Finally, the project would include construction of a new Replacement Administrative Building adjacent to the existing building.
