- VPC is proposing to expand its operations through the replacement of three field gas/natural gas-fired steam generators with three new 62.5 MMBtu/hr field gas/natural gas-fired steam generators and the installation of six new 85 MMBtu/hr natural gas-fired steam generators, for a total of nine new steam generators. The proposed project will be located within VPC's Heavy Oil Western Stationary Source in the Lost Hills Oil Field, Kern County, CA.
