2013 Water Transfer Program

Description

CID proposes to transfer to KCWA and DRWD (buyers) up to 7,310 acre-feet net of water made available from the Yuba River through groundwater substitution. Upon notice by KCWA and/or DRWD, groundwater will be pumped from approved wells for irrigation purposes in areas that would have been irrigated with surface water diverted from the Yuba River, June through September 2013, in the absence of the transfer.
