Influent Pump Station Expansion Project
Description
The project proposes to upgrade the existing influent Pump Station (IPS) at the SWRF to pump incoming flows up to 60 mgd. The new IPS would be located to the west of the existing IPS. The proposed project would be designed to pump flows up to 20 mgd to the SWRF headworks and flows in excess of 20 mgd to Oxidation Pond No. 1. The existing vactor dump site would be rebuilt and a new electrical building, odor control facility, and flowmeter vault would be constructed along with improvements to the IPS screenings area and manhole No. 9.
