Los Lamos Boat Launch Facility Repair

Description

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is executing Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2013-0170-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Nevada Irrigation District. The project is limited to a) widening and improving the existing 8-foot wide by 75-feet long concrete boat ramp, to the west by 4-feet, using 4-inch thick concrete placed over landscape fabric; b) constructing a three point turn around connecting the boat ramp and access way to the existing gravel roadway using 4-inch thick concrete placed over landscape fabric; and c) the addition of natural rock edging (boulders) to contain vehicle access to the delineated area. The project includes approximately 1,516-square feet of new concrete surface area. The project will be completed while the lake is at its lowest level and will take approximately five working days to complete. No vegetation removal is required to complete the project.
