Title: Replacement of Chapters 12.04 and 12.16 of the Pacific Grove Municipal Code
Description: The proposed project is the replacement of Chapters 12.04 and 12.16 - Tree Preservation and Protection of the Pacific Grove Municipal Code with Chapters 12.10 to 12.90 - Trees and Urban Forest. Additionally, the City Council will formally adopt a new set of Urban Forestry Standards designed to provide additional direction and clarification regarding the protection and management of the City of Pacific Grove's urban forest. The purpose of the proposed project is to address urban forestry practices on a city-wide basis and to require a more comprehensive set of tree management standards that will apply to both private and public land.
