- Description
- NOTE: 1 CD EMWD intends to construct and operate a groundwater extraction well and appurtenances on APN 307-210-024 in the community of Nuevo. The purpose of the extraction well is provide EMWD with an additional water supply while at the same time remove total dissolved solids and nitrogen from the groundwater basin. The well casing diameter would be up to 18 inches and would extend between 350 and 550 feet below ground surface. It would produce between 500 and 1500 gpm of brackish water for feed to EMWD's brackish groundwater desalters. A 12-inch diameter pipeline would connect the well to EMWD's existing 24-inch diameter transmission main in Nuevo Road.
