- Description
- Project activities will occur along Bill's Trail and within Samuel P. Taylor State Park, Marin County. The Bill's Trail change in use and improvement project involves changing the trail "use" to allow mountain biking in addition to hiking and horseback riding. To allow mountain biking and create a multi-use trail, the trail width must be increased and the drainage crossings must be improved. New 18-inch high bridge railing will be installed on seven existing bridges, twelve existing trail crossings will be upgraded with rock fords, and one new bridge will be built. CDFW is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2014-0099-R3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Danita M. Rodriguez from CA Dept. of Parks and Recreation.
