- Title
- Yuba County Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan
- Description
- Per the requirements of the California State Aeronautics Act (PUC Section 21670), the Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG), acting in its capacity as the Airport Land Use Commission (ALUC) for Sacramento, Sutter, Yolo, and Yuba counties, has prepared the Yuba County Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan (ALUCP). The ALUCP sets forth policies that are used by the ALUCP in evaluating the compatibility between future, proposed land use development in the vicinity of Yuba County Airport and the potential long-range aircraft activity at the Airport. The compatibility criteria defined by the ALUCP policies are also intended to be reflected in the plans and policy documents adopted by the counties of Yuba and Sutter, and the cities of Marysville and Yuba City, as they are the government entities with jurisdiction over land uses near the Airport. Preparation of the ALUCP was guided by the California Department of Transportation, Division of Aeronautics' California Airport Land Use Planning Handbook (2002), as required by PUC 21675(a).
