Alpine Meadows Road at Truckee River Bridge (19C0151) Replacement Project

Description

The California Department of Fish and Game is executing Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2012-0025-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Placer County Department of Public Works. The Project is the replacement of Bridge (19C0151) on Alpine Meadows Road over the Truckee River, next to SR 89. Alpine Meadows Road is the sole entrance for the Alpine Meadows Resort and residences and businesses in the Alpine Meadows Valley. Placer County intends to replace the existing bridge with a clear span 120 ft bridge that accommodates a 56 ft wide deck.
