Description: Implementation of the proposed project would construct an approximately 64,000 to 84,000 gross foot building on the campus for the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine Opthalmology Department. The proposed Gavin Herbert Eye Institute would be constructed on an approximately one-acre parcel near the intersection of Bison Avenue and Health Sciences Drive. Project implementation will include building construction, demolition of the existing parking area, earthwork, off-site and on-site utility improvements, access drive and parking improvements, and landscaping.
