- Title
- Yorba Slaughter Adobe Dike
- Description
- Note: Final The proposed project involves a trapezoid-shaped dike structure. The Prado basin side of the dike would consist of soil cement revetment at 1.5H on 1V slope and the protected side of the dike would consist of compacted fill and would have a 2H on 1V slope. The top of the dike would be 17 feet across (15 feet for the soil cement and an additional 2 feet for landscaping). The centerline of the dike would be at 566 feet above mean sea level (amsl). The highest point on the dike would occur at 566.19 feet (landside crown hinge), and the levee would have a 2% cross slope. Two 36-inch diameter culverts would drain water that collects within the protected land side of the dike to the Prado Basin side. These culverts would consist of an inlet structure, outlet structure, and reinforced concrete pressure pipe. One culvert would be located on the north side where the dike connects to the future Pomona Rincon Road. The other would be located in the southeast corner of the dike.
