Avenal Park LLC proposes to develop, own, and operate a 9 MW photovoltaic solar farm to be located on 86.29 acres of leased agricultural land in unincorporated Kings County, CA. The project would provide renewable solar energy to the citizens of Avenal as well as the greater Kings County area in addition to furthering California's 33% renewable portfolio standard by the year 2020.
