Title
Permit Coordination and Agricultural Water Quality Implementation Program in the Pajaro Watershed
Description
The Project works with agricultural landowners and farmers to implement Best Management Practices (BMPs) on agricultural lands. The BMPs focus on decreasing erosion, providing wildlife habitat, creation of windbreaks, and controlling the spread of invasive weed species. These projects will result in a decrease in sediment and soil loss, an increase in habitat, and a decrease in invasive species. The BMPS to be implemented include installation of windbreaks, grassed water ways, hedgerows and other vegetative treatments.
