Title: Solar Energy Research Center Construction and Operation
Description: The proposed project will construct a three story approximately 40,000 gross-square-foot building (gsf), reconfigure an existing service road and parking spaces an make utility improvements needed to service the proposed facility. The SERC building will accommodate both U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and non-DOE research programs focused on developing fuels from sunlight using nanoscale photovoltaic and electrochemical solar energy systems. Project construction is anticipated to occur over a two-year period beginning approximaely in mid-2011 and continuing through mid-2013.
