2010 Regional Transportation Plan - Plumas County

Description

SAFETE-LU and the California Government Code requires transportation planning agencies to update their RTP every five years if located in a federally designated attainment area. The purpose of the RTF is to encourage and promote safe and efficient management, operation and development of a regional intermodal transportation system that will serve the mobility needs of people and goods. The 2010 RTP will address future needs of the region includes road maintenance and rehabilitation, bridge replacements and upgrades, road widening, airport maintenance and improvements, safety improvements, railroad corridor and facility maintenance, an ongoing evaluation of transit needs and public transportation improvements.
