Description
NOTE: Functional equivalent EIR. The primary objective sought by the proposed action is to maintain the State's elk population in a healthy and viable condition for the employment and use of all Californians and to continue providing limited public sport hunting opportunities. The proposed action being considered by the Fish and Game Commission is to modify Title 14, California Code of Regulations (CCR), Section 364 to adjust annual tag allocations; modify current hunt boundaries and season dates; creates new hunt zones or hunts within existing zones and establishes corresponding season dates/tag quota ranges for those hunts.
