Title: Repair and Maintenance
Description: The Project will increase gas production and energy generated at the WWTP by increasing the ability to digest fat, oil and grease (FOG). The Project involves: 1) installing a FOG receiving station, which includes a 10,300 gallon FOG storage tank, pumps valves, piping, controls and integration into the existing supervisory control and data acquisition system; and 2) upgrading the existing infrastructure, which includes removing the sludge holding tank from service, rehabilitating the sludge holding tank and applying epoxy, replacing the digester gas line, replacing an approximately 600 feet of 4-inch galvanized pipe, installing a condensate trap, replacing the existing heat exchanger/boiler unit, replacing the sludge transfer system pumps and various support system, adding variable frequency drives and remote control and monitoring systems, and upgrading the sludge transfer system instrumentation.
