Description: The Project is an 84 unit senior congregate care facility to provide for Alzheimer's and Assisted Living for the elderly. The project would provide a separate lot of the 6.4 acre open space portion that would be included within the draft MSCP Santee Subarea Plan Preserve system as permanent open space. The project would impact 0.5 acres of occupied Diegan coastal sage scrub (DCSS). As such removal of DCSS is subject to the 4(d) special rule and interim take findings are associated with the project.
