Description

The proposed Project would consist of building a new free-span bridge over Tar Springs Creek. The bridge would be 40 ft long and 14 ft wide, with bridge abutments measuring 4 ft wide, 4 ft deep, ad 26 ft long built of reinforced concrete and located outside the stream channel. Steel I-beams would be placed on the abutments and a steel deck pan with reinforced concrete would be placed on the I-beams. The bridge would be backfilled on each side with ~24 cy of clean fill to raise the road elevation leading to the bridge. A backhoe operated from each side of the bank would be used to construct the bridge. Upon completion of construction, all disturbed sites would be stabilized using seeds and mulch.
