Title: Iron Point Buckingham Distribution Substation Project
Description: The proposed project consists of constructing and operating an ~0.5 acre distribution substation. The proposed substation would consist of one 25 MVA transformer, capacitor banks, a backup battery, metal clad switchgear, grounding grid, and a low-profile 69 kV bus structure. Additonal improvements include new cement slabs for the equipment and a 10 ft high masonry wall to encompass the footprint of the substation. As part of the proposed project, 4 new underground 12 kV feeders would be added and tie the substation into the existing underground distribution lines on both the north and south sides of Iron Point Road.
