Title: Penmar Water Quality Improvement Project
Description: Stormwater diversion at the Rose Avenue drain, two pump station systems, a pretreatment system to screen trash, sediment, oil and grease; an underground reservoir, and 3 force mains for flow conveyance. As sewer capacity allows, a portion of the flow will be diverted to the sanitary sewer and ultimately to the Hyperion Treatment Plant. Another portion of the wet weather flow will be diverted to the reservoir to be released at a controlled rate to the sanitary sewer. Minor sewer upgrades. Phase II would further treat diverted water.
