Otay Water District 2009 Water Resources Master Plan Update

Description

The OWD 2009 WRMP Update is intended to complement approved land use development plans and growth projections within the OWD service area and adjacent areas of influence (collectively referred to as the WRMP Planning Area), consistent with the San Diego Association of Government forecasts. The WRMP Capital Improvement Program will involve new construction and expansion of potable and recycled water conveyance and storage facilities (e.g. pipelines, pump stations and reservoirs); water supply offset projects (e.g. groundwater desalination facility, groundwater production wells, seawater desalination treatment/distribution facilities); and miscellaneous projects (e.g. air/vacuum ventilation systems, vaults/meters, bridge pipeline crossing). The PEIR will provide the basis for subsequent environmental review for these future projects.
