The objective of PAR 1469 is to further reduce the quantity of hexavalent chromium emissions and the associated cancer risk from the metal finishing industry by incorporating the latest amendments to the Airborne Toxic Control Measure for Chromium Plating and Chromic Acid Anodizing Operations, as adopted by the California Air Resources Board on October 24, 2007.
