Description: The City of Hughson proposes to make improvements to well #8 by installing a vertical turbine pump and motor, a masonry block building to house the well, electrical and chemical facilities, ~2,575 ft of transmission main, a coagulation/filtration system for the removal of arsenic, a 6,000 gallon steel contact tank, an 80,000 gallon above grade steel tank for backwash storage and a backwash pump station including ~2,575 ft of force main for treatment plant waste removal.
