The City of Monterey proposes to amend the General Plan Map (Commercial to Parks/Recreation/Open Space) and Zoning Map (Cannery Row Commercial to Open Space) for this site. The City also proposes to amend the Cannery Row Land Use Plan (Coastal Plan) that shows the site as appropriate for visitor serving commercial uses. The project will change the designation from visitor serving commercial to public use.
