Title: Zone 3 / Old Mammoth Water Storage Tank
Description: The Mammoth Community Water District will operate and maintain a new one-million gallon water storage tank on National Forest System land in the Mammoth Bluffs area off of Old Mammoth Road. The purpose of the water tank is to improve the existing water distribution system to better meet fire flow demands throughout the Town of Mammoth Lakes. Ancillary structures include a control building adjacent to the water tank, and electrical transformer, a 150 foot long improved gravel access road, and two underground pipelines.
