Description: Develop a shaded fuel break to influence fire behavior allowing for fire crews a better chance of stopping the fire which will reduce the damage to watersheds and water quality. Vegetation in the form of brush and small trees less than eight inches in diameter at breast height will be removed by manual thinning and pruning and mechanical mastication methods. Total treated area is approximately 147 acres.
