Title
Removal of Barrier to Fish Passage, Bank Stablaization and Riparian Enhancement on Dry Creek
Description
The proposed project will remove an existing flashboard dam acting as a partial fish barrier on Dry Creek, tributary to the Napa River. The project will improve salmonid passage, reduce bank instability, protect existing riparian canopy, minimize excess sediment loading, encourage landowner stewardship, and rehabilitate riparian habitat through invasive plant removal and native plant revegetation along Dry Creek. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2007-0182-3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Neil Thompson, Stravinski Development Group, LLC.
