Imperial County Cilion Ethanol Production Facility

Description

The Cilion Ethanol project proposes to develop an 84.30-acre parcel with a facility for the production of up to 110 million gallons of ethanol and distiller grains per year (mgy). The project will receive corn, grain, etc. (raw product) via rail which will be used to produce ethanol (processed product) for off-site use as an additive in motor vehicle fuel and wet distiller grains for use locally as cattle feed. Project structures would include a grain processing building, a fermentation building and tanks, a distillation, drying and evaporation building, ethanol storage tanks, an evaporation pond, and a natural gas-fired stearn production facility.
