- McLaughlin Lot Line Adjustment and Special Permit for Secondary Dwelling Unit
- Description
- Four parcels currently exist, one of which was created illegally. This project seeks to adjust the illegal parcel to one of the legal ones thereby correcting the subdivision violation. The parcels range in size from 0.9-19.4 acres. The resultant three parcels will range in size from 8.1-8.6 acres. Proposed Parcel A, at 8.1 acres, will now be developed with a primary unit and an SDU. Proposed Parcel C, at 8.6 acres, will retain the existing residence and proposed Parcel B will remain vacant. The SP is to allow the existing "cabin" on -18 to become a SDU so that resultant Parcel A will have two residences. All development is served by on-site sewage disposal and community water. Because the LLA will not result in additional parcels, but an increase in the owner's potential ability to subdivide in the future. Staff finds the project subject to CEQA.
