Floodplain Reconnection and Restoration on the La Barranca Unit, Sacramento River National Wildlife Rescue
Description
The allocation of a grant to River Partners for a partnership project with the U.S Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), to restore approximately 147 acres of riparian habitat on the 1,066 acre La Barranca Unit of the Sacramento River National Wildlife Refuge, owned by the USFWS. The restorationi of this site will complement 955 acres of previously restored habitat for a total 3,032 restored acres in the Red Bluff reach of the Refuge.
