Title

Interstate 10 at Ramon Road/Bob Hope Drive Interchange

Description

The project involves the construction of the Ramon Road/Bob Hope Drive Interchange, and widening five arterial street projects associated with the Ramon Road/Bob Hope Drive Interchange as described in detail in CESA Incidental Take Permit 2081-2003-010-06. The project would be implemented within the project area as defined in the "Project Location" section of the CESA Incidental Take Permit and take place for a period of two years. The Department of Fish and Game, as responsible agency, is issuing an Incidental Take Permit for Coachella Valley Fringe-toed Lizard (Uma inornata), which is listed as an endangered species under the California Endangered Species Act (Fish and Game Code Section 2050 et seq.) and which could be taken as a result of the project. The Permittee has also addressed the project's impacts on Flat-tailed Horned Lizard (Phrynosoma mcallii), Palm Springs Round-tailed Ground Squirrel (Spermophilus tereticaudus chlorus), Palm Springs Pocket Mouse (Perognathus longimembris bangsi), Western Burrowing Owl (Athene cunicularia), and Coachella Valley Milk-vetch (Astragalus lentiginosus var. coachellae), all of which are currently unlisted.
