Somky House Removal

Description

The operator proposes to move a house by crossing Soscol Creek and an unnamed tributary to Soscol Creek at 1515 Soscol Ferry Road, Napa, Napa County. Wooden beams will be placed on a cultivated area parallel to the stream. Steel modular bridge sections placed on wood pads perpendicular to the stream will create a freespan bridge. Vegetation trimming will occur to place the structure across the stream. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2006-0342-3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, Steven Monrad / Joy Housemoving.
